When Georgia passed a religious liberties bill that would have protected the rights of many, particularly clergy, from participating in gay marriages that go against their religious beliefs, all it had to do was pass the desk of Republican Governor Nathan Deal. It didn’t. He vetoed it.
Not because it's offensive to gay people but because of the walking dead and the super bowl were offended , money… https://t.co/9XHznny0AT

Make whatever judgments you will about Deal; that’s up to you and your belief system. However, those who belief in protecting religious liberties must view this as a clear indicator of why we need a man like Ted Cruz as President. The push by the left to abandon the country’s values and promote tolerance over freedom is arguably the biggest reason that we need a proven conservative in the White House. We need conservative Supreme Court Justices. We need a man who will promote the election of conservatives to all branches and levels of government. Donald Trump is not that man.
This veto wasn’t signed because it represented an ideological break from the Governor. It was signed based upon his desire to both avoid controversy and help his state from a business perspective as threats of removal from consideration for things such as the Super Bowl and even filming of The Walking Dead pushed him to make a good business decision. It’s these types of good business decisions that go against conservatism that scare me the most about Trump.
Now more than ever, we need to elect a conservative. We need to elect Ted Cruz.
