Bathroom laws protect against discrimination towards the bio-gendered

Transgender Discrimination

There’s a certain irony in the arguments from the left that we should all be accustomed to by now. The irony is that they are attempting to discriminate against those who believe that their gender is based upon the sex they were assigned at birth by claiming discrimination. In other words, they’re arguing for the the very thing they’re pretending to argue against.

Confused? When we try to apply logic in the world of liberalism, it’s easy to get a headache.

The notion that is being played out in mainstream media is that bathroom laws such as House Bill 2 in North Carolina discriminate against transgenders. Here’s the thing. The law is the exact opposite of discrimination. In fact, it’s defending against discrimination. Without the law, anyone who is not classified as a transgender is not allowed the same rights and privileges as someone who claims to be transgender.

What the Obama administration and left-wing groups want is for people who are not transgender to go to their assigned bathrooms based upon their logical desire to abide by their birth sex. We’ll call these people, which represent the vast majority of Americans (for now), “bio-gendered.”

Those who are transgender can use the restroom with which they best identify at that moment.

In other words, the left wants to give more and better options to transgender people. They want fewer options for bio-gendered people. That is discrimination.

Bathroom laws, conservative values, and common sense all say that a person should use the bathroom based upon physiological features with which they were born. This is the most non-discriminatory way to address the situation. Every man and woman is treated equally regardless of their personal gender identity du jour.

This is the Alinsky playbook at work. Logic, reason, safety, and values are dismissed for the sake of feelings. If a transgender man wants to identify as a woman, his/her rights supersede the rights of women, girls, spouses, and parents. Others must experience discomfort in order to prevent his discomfort. That’s Obama’s America.
