Trump supporters stand in line

The GOP has been known as the party of doom and gloom for a while. This is a false characterization, of course, but it has helped to bring about the rise of moderates and Neocons willing to say things that make the party more appealing.

Donald Trump came along. Now, as the party rushes to support him in an effort to stop Hillary Clinton, many are finding themselves approving of messages that are far from conservative and completely untenable from any logical perspective. But hey, at least he’s not Hillary, right?

Unfortunately, the line that holds the hard, conservative truths about how to fix the country is empty. Will Ted Cruz be able to make a play at the convention. Will Mitt Romney or Ben Sasse step up? Is there any hope for the truth?
