The two words Trump must use on immigration

These arguments have one true goal in mind.

The submission and subjugation of the West. Of Judeo-Christian values, Of the primacy of individual rights. And of America in particular. The browbeating tactics are merely tools to weaken or eliminate popular support for government policies reaffirming the nation’s sovereignty.

Any nation has the duty to control its borders. That is an obligation, to the persons within its borders. Those duties do not run to those outside its borders.

The Far Left misappropriates the arguments, mistakenly defined as “American exceptionalism,” to similarly shame Americans into accepting “duties” to the rest of the world. That line of thinking goes, the world has rights, and Americans have obligations to the rest of the world.

That is not American exceptionalism.

That is American subjugation! That is called The Conquest of America. Whether the goal is to turn America into one big new caliphate, or a true “red state” on the order of a Soviet-style People’s Republic, is besides the point, for the “fundamental transformation” of the nation would be the same.

Now consider the mentality — indeed, the values — which must silently support those goals. Doesn’t that explain just about every destructive American policy, domestic or foreign, for years? Doesn’t that explain the rationale for each and every attempt to undermine basic American and Judeo-Christian values, and the primacy of the individual — in our schools, our institutions, our culture?

Senator Ted Cruz criticized the Obama Administration for its refusal to call America’s enemy “radical Islamic terrorism.” Yet in a similar vein, we still see our new Administration’s inability to recognize what we are truly fighting for.

Without recognizing our values for what they are, can we win this struggle?

Donald Trump has become a master at the Twitterized sound bite, the quick rhetorical hit and run in as few syllables as possible. But to win this war on the borders, his Administration needs to frame the debate properly.

This is about American Civilization.

This is about Western Civilization.

This is about civilization, period.
