Sound off: The future of The New Americana

The NEW New Americana

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen many changes at The New Americana. We brought on Steve Berman to offer more attention and activity to these pages as well as to build up a stable of writers who can help us expand. We’ve become more visual in our nature; the old long list of links are gone. Should they be gone for good?

If you’ve been watching the transition at TNA for the last few weeks, we’d love to hear from you. Are things getting better? Do you like the more visual layout we’re using? We’ve cut down dramatically on the number of links we’re putting out there, giving us more focus on the news pieces that are important but with less ability to find the “hidden gems” of news pieces that some people liked. Should this continue?

Please let us know what you’d like to see with the site. We’ve always been a “Drudge alternative” but we want to be more than that. Sound off in the comments, of Facebook, or email me directly at [email protected] to let us know what you think.

On a side note, we still need to raise enough money to help us achieve the next levels. Please contribute here.

  1. Really don’t like it…more glitz, less real news….and feel free to lose the coverage of tweets. I hate that, 99% of those tweets are “who cares” mindless substitutions for news. In reality, tweets are summary opinions without facts to back up the position. What a waste!
